Q-BASE - Winner Drop Your Own Area
On Wednesday the 25th of August the finalists of the Drop Your Own Area contest have pitched their plans to Q-dance. It was hard to select a winner as all finalists had high quality well thought-out plans.
Probably every finalist could have hosted the Q-BASE area with success, but only 1 entry could win.
Thanks to the overwhelming response, Q-dance is planning to do a similar contest next year for multiple area's: let's start slowly with brainstorming
After hours of consideration, Q-dance decided to give the team of TK07 the chance to host the ammo bunker with the 'The Neverending Party'. 'The Neverending Party' is a valuable addition to Q-BASE from as well a musical as creative perspective. TK07 presented a well thought-out plan that included the setting and atmosphere of the ammo bunker, and besides that they will bring a variety of sounds to the Q-BASE public. The area of TK07 will be the stage for rave, IDM, breakcore, hard techno and frenchcore. Q-dance congratulates TK07 with this result, and would like to thank all other finalists for their dedication to this contest.
